Q: Do you have any secret method of making Khanom kork bai-toey?

A: Our secret method and recipe belong to my family. It had been passed down from generation to generation. The method is over 60 years now. We haven’t change anything at all because we want to preserve the original style and taste of this traditional dessert.

Q: Do you agree WHEN many people say that your shop is like a symbol of this night market?

A: I don't want to say it is a symbol of this market. I think the smell of our Khanom Krok and how we decorate our shop in a vintage style attract shoppers and foreigners who enter this night market.

Q: Is it worth waiting?

A: It is better to say that most of our customers are willing to wait. Some of them can enjoy shopping at night market first and grab their order later after a long walk.

Q: What is Khanom Krok Bai-Toey?

A: This Khanom Kork Bai-Toey is a delightful traditional Thai dessert that gives you a taste of sweetness. Actually, it is not a well-known dessert nowadays so it might be difficult if you are looking for it.

Q: What makes your Khanom krok bai-toey different from others?

A: Although the ingredients are not much different from others but the processes of our cooking makes it unique. The perfect taste of this dessert depends on the combination of each ingredient. The volume of fire is also an important factor. Moreover, we only serve our customers with fresh and warm Khanom Krok.

Q: Why people know this shop as a hundredS queue shop?

A: We normally have a hundreds queue per day. As I mentioned before, we only serve fresh and warm dessert to customers. We cook it one at a time and it quite takes a while so people must take a queue ticketing and wait for their Khanom Krok. I think people just called it after that. We also provided many chairs for the convenience of customers.

Q: The more customers, the lower of quality?

A: Because we have a lot of queues, we can’t waste our time to make it neat and tidy but we can guarantee that taste will never disappoint our customers.

Q: How long you will continue doing this?

A: Oh well, I just can’t tell an exact time but I think I will keep doing this until I run out of the energy.
